Description
Thor: Reign of Blood #1 is a standalone one-shot published by Marvel Comics (August 2008), the second in writer Matt Fraction‘s “Ages of Thunder” series of mythologically-driven Thor stories. Continuing from Thor: Ages of Thunder #1, the story is brought to life by artists Patrick Zircher and Khari Evans, with colours by June Chung, as Fraction and Zircher unspool further epic tales of Thor’s warrior heroism and the Midgard-quaking intrigues of the gods across past Ragnarok cycles. Thor does battle with a mythical grotesquerie known as the Blood Colossus in a tale that is darker and more savage than its predecessor. The story continues in Thor: Man of War #1.
